Patient and Public Involvement Group

We are inviting members of the public, patients, and carers to register their interest in joining the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) group for the CIPHER: Clinician Interventions for Pain and High-fidelity Ergonomic Resilience study at the University of Edinburgh.

PPIE is a vital part of our research. It ensures that the study is shaped by the people it is intended to benefit, helping to make it more relevant, inclusive, and impactful. By joining the group, you will have the opportunity to share your views, experiences, and ideas to help guide different aspects of the research, such as study design, materials, and how findings are shared. No previous research experience is needed.

Participation may involve attending occasional meetings (online or in person in Edinburgh), reviewing study documents, or providing feedback at key stages of the project. We aim to make involvement flexible and accessible, and we will support any access needs where possible. We welcome interest from people of all backgrounds and experiences, as well as members of the wider public.

If you are interested in being involved, please complete the registration form by 31st May 2026. The information you provide will help us ensure that our PPIE group reflects a diverse range of perspectives. The first PPIE group meeting will be scheduled for early June 2026.

Thank you for your interest in helping to shape our research.
